"I volunteer once a week at Chicago's Field Museum of Natural History. I would live there if I could! Instead, I go in and paint studies of specimens of some of my favorite birds, this being one of them. Cooper's hawks are found throughout North America, and are becoming increasingly more common in the Chicago area.
