The Conscious Alliance Umphreys McGeee are happy to announce that we will be hosting food drives for the upcoming 2009 Colorado Run shows at the Aggie Theatre, Boulder Theater and Fillmore Auditorium. For these very special events artist Rob Marx created a limited-edition masterpiece that is FREE to all patrons that donate 10 non-perishable food items. Donation bins will be located outside the main entrance of each theater where Conscious Alliance volunteers will trade poster redemption vouchers for your non-perishable donations. Posters can be redeemed at the Conscious Alliance table inside the venue anytime during or after the show. The poster will also be available for a suggested monetary donation.
The Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. “Organic” food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster.
