I'd much rather play a musical instrument, but after countless attempts, I gave up and started doing gig posters instead. I now work full time as a freelance designer, mostly entertainment based stuff. Hey baseball fans - Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Team? That's my fish! I take a more conservative approach than most around here do, because Winnipeg has a relatively small music community and the name of the game is simply and boldly "get folks to know about the show". Sadly, basic dumb advertising has to come before art, but it's my goal to make both co-exist happily whenever I can.
