Shawn passed away last night after his 9 year battle with relapsing polychondritis at around 8pm. No arrangements have been made yet but once they are I will share them with anyone that is interested.
Shawn was such an amazingly strong, thoughtful, and upbeat individual in spite of the cards he was dealt by life. I know the people he touched in life would want to know of his passing, that's why I'm reaching out... But I don't know everyone. If you know anyone that would want to know but I can't reach on Facebook, please let them know...

I was really surprised to see this thread here. People who follow MMA know that another Shawn Williams in the past year dead prematurely (not as prematurely as this case though), and I thought this was about him. I think that if the Canadian Shawn Williams had died at the age this young man died, that his death would only be known by his close family and friends, because he did not gain fame for being an extraordinary coach until after his thirties, so it goes to show that this young man was very accomplished and did plenty while he was living to remembered for his work/life by people outside of his circle of close friends/family. I did not know him, but I wish I had.
