The story inside: The Strange Secret of the Rebel Belle's Boudoir. This Civil War themed painting depicts two beautiful women aiding a wounded Confederate soldier. It appears that they are about to be discovered by the Union army. One woman is holding a gun for defense while the other is cradling the soldier. One can almost feel the panic & drama that is conveyed in this well painted piece. Scarlet O'Hara comes to mind.
