I’ve been encouraged by more than a few fans to create a Johnny Cash painting, so it’s done!! The original oil painting was done at a great size, measuring 30†x 48â€. (the print image is 16.25†x 26â€) I considered a lot of different looks for Johnny, and decided this dark image felt right, with Johnny, having a knowing connection with the viewer. I’ve listened to a lot of music in my day, and Cash is one of those highly respected artists that influenced many others. I had a lot of tunes playing while working on this painting this that spanned many years and many genres. The reproduction offered here has a large image area of 16.25 †x 26 â€, on 17.375†x 28 †stock (image area of 41.3 cm x 66 cm, on 44.1 cm x 71.1 cm stock).
