55 - AP prints.*the show in anacortes has prints fom 20 printmakers, including kleinsmith, ledoux, nick butcher, dan ibarra, and about 15 more. the prints are in editions of 20, and my subscribers will be receiving what we'll be calling an AP set. seems like kind of a scewed up way to go about it, that's the only way that i could meet both the requirements of the show and the subscription series. my piece is a relatively large two color print, of an extinct animal, featuring some text in french. NONE of the prints in the run printed perfectly, due to the quick, fun nature of the print. there is some minor smearing on all of the prints. this is just the nature of this print, and i didn't feel like it detracted from the overall quality of the run. it was fun to do.
On 8/6/04, an "AP" edition of 55 prints was released for sale at The Bird Machine.
