Mixed media on Qee
Created by acclaimed artist Eric White for the OX-OP Qee show in 2004, in which a blank vinyl qee was provided to artists (ie. Tim Biskup, Obey, Gary Baseman, Jeff Soto, and many other low brow artists) who were asked to run wild with them and to create something unique with their own individual styles. Many of the designs that came out of this 'qee project/show' were later marketed by the various artists who created them as limited edition vinyl figures, including sold out editions by Biskup and Baseman. This Eric White Qee, however, is a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork, and was not reproduced or replicated in any way for sale to the public.
