This is Lyle, my friend from the Taos Pueblos who is riding in Taos. The rio grande blanket are more rare than Navajo blanket and their history can trace back all the way to the 1500s. They were develop all the way to the early 1900 and mostly in New Mexico and Arizona. Interesting story here cause the blanket was loan to me by Chris Ferguson, and the painting was a trade I made with Mark Sublette, these 2 gentlemen being probably the most knowledgeable person I know about Native American artefacts.
