Artist's red monogram stamp [also signed with the monogram in the stone]

A fine impression of this rare print without letters, printed in brown ink, from the second edition before the removal of the two figures with top hats at the left.
Adriani records an edition of only 15 on this paper (there was also an edition of 30 on vellum); 25 of these impressions were in black ink, and the rest in green or brown.
This composition was commissioned for a song-sheet cover for a song by Yvette Guilbert; as issued with the song it of course had the title, author, and the usual extensive lettering.
Les Vieux Monsieurs is one of Lautrec's most successful smaller portraits, portraying older men ogling over an attractive young girl carrying her hatbox.
