Silkscreen print based on a photograph taken from a party boat in Hamburg, on a very wet day.
Outside the frame, the beer I just set on the rail has just been knocked into the Elbe by a crazed poster artist from Leeds, while punk band plays on the fantail.
The cone of the camera penetrates the small bubble of clatter, and the noise soon dissipates in the mist and rain until the only sound is the hum of the wind in the wires.
Printed on French Construction 100# Grout Gray, using six colors including four shades of gray, on an M&R Saturn semi-auto press.
The best music can create a strong sense of being somewhere else, and Jason's music has taken me many places. This is one of them.
