Finding myself stuck for inspiration, but itching to do a woodcut, I turned to social media for a spark. I came up with the hashtag #onewordwoodcut" and asked for suggestions using my Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts. Among the replies, "zombie" stood out and got me carving. A free print was sent to the person(s) who inspired it. I'm totally going to own the #onewordwoodcut hashtag whenever I'm blocked in the future.
"Zombie" is a bleed print (no white border), signed, stamped and numbered on the reverse.
