A Protec skate helmet, painted by the Sheffield artist Phlegm.
A one off piece, he painted this by hand. It dates from late 2005/early 2006 and features characters from the first editions of 'Phlegm Comic'
The helmet was sprayed white, then painted by hand with paint and marker pen, then brushed with a coat of lacquer. This has given the piece an off white colour. An interesting and completely original piece from the artist's early days.
