Thousands of hardworking people without health insurance rely on the Church Health Center for quality, affordable care, and since Memphis is a music city, many of those people are working musicians. Every year at Rock for Love, musicians and members of the larger creative community come together to give back to an organization that has helped many of them.
Why Rock for Love?
Love is the driving force behind great art and great music, especially in Memphis, the birthplace and breeding ground for music that is loved around the world. Love is also at the heart of the Church Health Center’s mission to provide affordable healthcare to the working uninsured and to give people the tools to live healthier lives.
Founded in 2007, Rock for Love has grown from one concert to become the must-see concert weekend of the late summer with several concerts at multiple well-known venues. To date, Rock for Love has raised more than $200,000 for the Center.
