The black screen (the layer of the color 'black' that contains the line-art) is especially important, since it unites the piece, therefore Jermaine puts much emphasis on this'black' seperation. It must be PERFECT A seprate run of 10 uncut proofs are made with just the black ink, providing an easy oppurtunity to find and fix any problems.
There is a known 11th copy of this B&W proof that is signed but not numbered. It is doodled by Jermaine in the lower left corner in the place of numbering.See also the casualty of this piece...
