Pen Drawing on Off-White Napkin.
In 1983 at a Costume Institute event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a guest seated at the same table as Andy Warhol asked Andy if he would draw something on his formal linen dinner napkin. Warhol used a marker to create this composition consisting of three butterflies and signed "Andy Warhol". This piece appeared on the Antiques Roadshow where appraiser Kathleen Guzman recommended having the piece authenticated by The Andy Warhol Art Authentication Board, Inc. The board determined it was an authentic piece and issued it the identification number of A134.0610.
